Current Research Collaborations
Critical Consciousness & Transformational Learning Research Lab
Co-Investigator | Rowan University / George Washington University
Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to explore how learning environments cultivate critical consciousness around equity, power, and privilege, and support educators in envisioning and enacting transformative practice.
Key contributions include:
Bringing a Cultural Studies and critical theory lens to conceptual framing
Supporting qualitative research design, analysis, and interpretive strategy
Advancing reflexive, ethical, and equity-centered inquiry practices
Engaging in collaborative knowledge production with faculty and doctoral researchers
This collaboration keeps my practice grounded in active scholarship, participatory inquiry, and the evolving landscape of critical qualitative research, while strengthening the mentorship and methodological strategies I bring to the scholars I coach.

Qualitative Research Teaching & Mentorship
Qualitative Research Teaching & Mentorship
Taught graduate-level courses in Qualitative Research Methodologies and Critical Research Methods, introducing students to interpretive, critical, arts-based, and participatory approaches.
Provided individualized mentorship to master’s and doctoral students, supporting them in aligning theory, epistemology, and method, refining research questions, and developing coherent, defensible research designs.
Guided scholarly writing across multiple stages — including proposal development, literature review strategy, methodology chapter scaffolding, analytic memo writing, and argumentation grounded in qualitative rigor and reflexivity.
These experiences inform my coaching approach — structured, supportive, intellectually grounded, and deeply attentive to the researcher’s voice, values, and methodological alignment.

Research Experience
Collaborative & Applied Research
The George Washington University
Engaged in interdisciplinary research examining culture, inequality, and education
Supported graduate researchers through workshops on research design and scholarly writing
Contributed to conceptual and theoretical development across collaborative projects
Mentored doctoral scholars in reflexive, theory-aligned qualitative inquiry
Presented at national conferences (AERA, ICQI) on topics including South Asian youth identity, critical consciousness, and third-culture belonging
I bring this deep research experience to clients who want guidance from someone who has worked through the full research process — from idea to execution to dissemination.
